i’ve been working on the layout CSS for my site and suprise suprise, a fixed background image aligned bottom middle works in every browser except fricken MAC IE (havent tested PC IE as yet), it starts of centered then as u scroll down to the footer the image distorts!! been looking around the internet and there is nothing specifying the correct way to fix the bug………GRRRR!!!

i had a look at this japanese flash site and although the content isnt really suitable, i really like the style and colours. i think i’m going to go for somthing simular just not as japanese, also, i wont be using much flash. purely for the fact that i want to learn to use CSS so i can optimise my site for google….view designer gokko HERE.

although the actual design of www.mariusroosendaal.com doesn’t really inspire me greatly, it has a lovely little feature that detects the time of the day of the browsers computer then changes the graphics accordantly, i would be very keen to include a simular feature to my site…..

www.lysergid.com is an online porfolio of an art director/illustraiter. it has a very simple layout and beautiful static visuals, but i am unsure on how this would translate to interactive/motion work. i am very keen to keep my site as simple as possible with maybe just the one page….unsure….

As part of my project, i figure that i may as well turn this into my online portfolio also. therefore i have bought my own domain name and web hosting with dreamhost.com , i have called my company sneakybadger.com as i have an unnatural obsession with the little critters and i also think its a fairly memorable name/url. my next step is to look around other designers online portfolios to see what should be included and ideas for design layout……

This was my original idea for my Sky interface design, although we are on the same lines as this things are going to change dramatically. Its basically a masked off high definition panoramic video of a sports match that the user can navigate and zoom themselves using the Wii remote technology…..view it HERE.

The production was over the moon with theresults, but we had a mammoth post-production task to stabilize theselected takes (there were quite a few). Our interpolation software wasalso a godsend because Mr B managed to hit one of the cameras during apenalty shoot.
